I am a Consultant Dermatologist with 12 years of specialist dermatology experience, including 7 years of specialist practise in the NHS. I care for adults and children with a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, with particular interest in Paediatric Dermatology and Hair Disorders.
After completing my specialist dermatology training at leading academic institutions in India, I moved to the UK in 2019. Since then, I have had the privilege of working and training alongside highly respected consultant dermatologists, including Dr William Porter, Dr James Milne, Dr Emily Davies and colleagues at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Their guidance and mentorship have helped shape the thoughtful, patient-centred approach I bring to every consultation.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology, and a member of the British Society for Paediatric Dermatology (BSPAD), British Hair and Nail Society (BHNS), British Association of Dermatologists (BAD), and the Indian Association of Dermatologists and Surgeons (IADVL/ASC(I)).
Alongside my clinical practice, I am passionate about teaching, research, and continually improving dermatology services within the NHS. As the department's Quality Improvement Lead, I oversee quality improvement projects and clinical audits to enhance patient care. I have presented my work at national and international meetings, published peer-reviewed research and educational articles, contributed to a dermatology textbook chapter, and continue to teach medical students, resident doctors, and multidisciplinary teams.
I live in Gloucestershire with my husband, an orthopaedic surgeon, and our two young children. Being both a dermatologist and a parent has given me a real appreciation of how much skin conditions can affect confidence, comfort, wellbeing, and family life. Whether I am caring for a young child with eczema, a teenager struggling with acne or hair loss, or an adult with a complex skin condition, I believe every patient deserves to feel listened to, understood, and involved in their care.
My aim is to provide expert, evidence-based skin care in a warm, friendly, and unhurried environment. I take the time to explain diagnoses clearly, answer questions, and work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that fits your individual needs and lifestyle.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, gym and playing tennis, and supporting charitable initiatives that improve healthcare for children in underserved communities.
